TRIVIUM Announce European/UK Tour Following Collapse of Co-Headliner with BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE

Following the unexpected unraveling of their co-headlining tour with Bullet For My Valentine, Trivium are moving forward with plans to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their breakthrough album Ascendancy — even if some fans will have to wait a little longer.

The originally planned world tour, which would’ve seen both bands honoring their landmark 2005 albums — The Poison (Bullet) and Ascendancy (Trivium) — was scrapped mid-run. The decision came after Matt Tuck (Bullet For My Valentine) opted to focus on recording a new album instead of continuing with the remaining tour legs.

Despite the setback, Trivium have made it clear that their Ascendancy celebrations will still happen. They issued a statement indicating that certain territories may experience delays due to the shake-up in scheduling. But progress is already underway.

This morning (May 19th), Trivium announced a European/UK headlining tour set for this summer. While the official admat doesn’t specifically reference any Ascendancy-themed performances, fans can expect more updates as the band adjusts their touring plans.
