TRIVIUM Release ‘Struck Dead’ EP and Music Video for Title Track

Trivium have officially released their new three-song EP, “Struck Dead”, today (October 31st). The release marks the band’s final effort with longtime drummer Alex Bent, whose departure was announced earlier this month. While Sepultura’s Greyson Nekrutman briefly stepped in following the lineup change, Trivium have since confirmed Alex Rüdinger (ex-Whitechapel, etc.) as their new full-time drummer moving forward. Rüdinger will join the group for all upcoming tour dates and future studio sessions.

To accompany the EP’s release, the band unveiled a music video for the title track, “Struck Dead”, directed by Black Card Films.

Bassist and vocalist Paolo Gregoletto shared the following about the release:

“Born from months of revisiting and performing ‘Ascendancy’ in full, this EP channels that familiar power and spirit while pushing into new territory. We feel that ‘Struck Dead’ stands as the first step into a bold new era for us and we’re happy to finally share it with all of you.”
