Although the band remains defunct, Twelve Foot Ninja’s catalog is getting a fresh spotlight with a new vinyl pressing of their debut album Silent Machine. Pre-orders are available now via twelvefootninja.com.
The album has been remastered for vinyl by Forrester Savell (Karnivool, TesseracT), with guitarist/producer Steve “Stevic” MacKay overseeing the process. MacKay shared:
“I’ve heard ‘put ‘Silent Machine‘ on vinyl!’ almost as much as busy similes…So I got Forrester Savell to give the album a proper vinyl zhuzh, and it’s now being digested by whatever almighty worm-beast coughs out records. The pressing process takes about 8–10 weeks, and this is a limited run–so if you want ‘Silent Machine‘ on vinyl, do future-you a Molly and preorder from the official website: www.twelvefootninja.com (Shipping will be from the USA but if there’s enough Aussie pre-orders I’ll look into an Australian pressing to reduce shipping expense). Have a lovely evening – Stevic”
This reissue offers fans a chance to experience the genre-defying debut in a new, collectible format.
