Legendary glam metal outfit Twisted Sister will continue with their planned 50th anniversary live appearances later this year, though without longtime frontman Dee Snider.
The band confirmed on March 3rd that Snider will be unable to participate in the performances due to health-related concerns. Stepping in for the celebratory run will be former Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach, marking a high-profile collaboration between two iconic figures of the hard rock and glam metal era.
In an official statement, guitarist Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda announced Bach’s involvement, noting that the appearances will be limited to select dates this fall and will not interfere with his solo touring commitments.
“Twisted Sister members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda are thrilled to announce that iconic vocalist and front man Sebastian Bach will be fronting the band for a handful of select dates this fall. These appearances do not affect or conflict with Sebastian’s current or future solo touring schedule, which remains fully intact.”
Additional details regarding specific dates and locations for the anniversary performances are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
