Twitching Tongues are bringing back their annual Halloween tradition this year, once again transforming into Twitchfits for a special set dedicated to the music of Misfits.
The tribute concert is scheduled for October 24th at Proyecto in Los Angeles, CA, with several other bands getting into the spirit by performing under tribute-themed names of their own.
Among them, Cosmic Joke will become Cosmic Joke’s Pro Skater 2 for a set featuring songs from the iconic ‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2’ soundtrack. Pity Sex will also trade their usual material for a Jimmy Eat World covers set as Britty Eat World.
Elsewhere on the bill, Firestarter will take on the catalog of hardcore legends Judge under the name Burnin’ It Down, while Contract Killer will pay tribute to Alice In Chains as Alice In Contract.
The full lineup promises an evening of Halloween-themed covers spanning punk, hardcore, alternative rock and the beloved soundtrack of one of gaming’s most influential skateboarding titles.
