UADA Unveil Cover of Rome’s “Der Brandtaucher”

UADA have shared their rendition of Rome’s “Der Brandtaucher,” featured on their upcoming acoustic release, Interwoven. The album finds the black metal outfit revisiting their catalog in stripped-down arrangements, while also tackling songs that shaped the band’s creative vision.

Reflecting on the choice, the band said:

“Originally composed by Jerome Reuter and Patrick Damiani, this rendition was the final track chosen for ‘Interwoven’. Having followed Rome since 2008’s ‘Masse Mensch Material’, ‘Der Brandtaucher’ held deep personal resonance, especially during the most difficult chapter of my life. Its inclusion was not simply artistic – it was necessary.”

Interwoven is set to arrive April 10 via Eisenwald Records.

UADA will also support the album with a North American tour alongside Mortiis, Jerome Reuter’s Rome, and Wraith Knight, hitting major cities across the U.S. and Canada throughout April and May.
