Pennsylvania metalcore outfit UltraViolent (featuring members linked to Galactic Empire) have unveiled a new music video for their track “EYES OF GOD,” marking the first official release from their latest lineup.
Vocalist Brett Anspach says the song represents both a creative reset and a thematic shift for the band, describing it as one of the earliest compositions from the revamped lineup as UltraViolent moves into a new phase.
“‘EYES OF GOD’ is one of the first songs this current lineup has written. We’re moving past an old era and revamping the definition of UltraViolent,” Anspach explained.
Lyrically, the track tackles themes of blind faith, corruption, and moral decay, framing its central concept as a confrontation rather than salvation.
“The song comes from a place of anger towards the reverence of a deity who allows corruption and blind faith to dictate the world’s decisions…”
Musically, the band leans into a more punishing and escalating structure, culminating in what Anspach describes as a climactic final act meant to reinforce the song’s intensity and concept.
The current lineup is rounded out by guitarists Danny Koury and Bryce Delp, bassist/vocalist Avery LeVan, and drummer Kevin Abt.
