Undeath have officially entered their next chapter with the release of a new single, “Arterial Bombardment.” The track arrives as the Rochester, New York death metal outfit prepare for their fourth studio album, which is expected to arrive in 2027.
“Arterial Bombardment” is being issued on a limited flexi disc that will be available during the band’s upcoming touring, while fans can also receive the release with qualifying Undeath merchandise purchases through Relapse Records.
The new track marks the band’s first major offering since signing with Relapse, and vocalist Alex Sason says the group wanted to make an immediate statement with their new label.
“Today it’s our pleasure to share ‘Arterial Bombardment’ with you. After signing with Relapse we knew we had to come out swinging, and a track full of non-stop riffing, blasting, death metal sickness seems like the perfect way to do so.”
Sason also revealed that bassist Tommy Wall was responsible for creating the song, while Colin Marston handled the engineering, mixing and mastering.
“We believe it serves as an excellent appetizer for what’s to come from this next chapter of Undeath. We hope you dig what you hear and we can’t wait to show you what else we’ve got in store for all of you.”
The band will spend the coming weeks on an extensive run through Europe and the UK, first alongside Suffocation, Ingested and Eternal, before continuing with Slimelord.
