Upon A Burning Body have been forced to pull out of the remainder of DevilDriver’s ongoing tour after multiple members of their camp tested positive for COVID-19.
The Texas groove metal outfit announced the news today, August 29th, explaining that continuing the run would put the health of the other bands and crews involved at risk.
“IMPORTANT UPDATE
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances and the safety of others, we will not be playing the remainder of the ‘Strike & Kill Tour’.
Some of our camp has tested positive for COVID and it just wouldn’t be right to continue putting everyone else at risk.
We are sorry, and it hurts us to not be able to play these shows. We promise to make it up to everyone soon.

Upon A Burning Body had been appearing as direct support for DevilDriver on the ‘Strike And Kill Tour’, with Ov Sulfur opening the shows.
The tour is currently scheduled to continue through September 5th, although Upon A Burning Body will no longer be part of the remaining dates.
