Proto-black metal pioneers Venom have dropped their new single “Kicked Outta Hell,” offering another preview of their upcoming 16th studio album ‘Into Oblivion’.
The track marks the second single from the record, which is set for release on May 1st via BMG. Notably, the album shares its title with a separate 2026 release from Lamb Of God, though the two projects are unrelated.
Frontman Cronos, the band’s last remaining original member, described the song as a tongue-in-cheek twist on classic themes:
“This one is me just having fun. I’m putting myself above the Devil in the lyric, which I think is an interesting twist. The Devil’s pissed off with us!”
Guitarist Stuart Dixon (aka Rage) added:
“It’s one of the heaviest songs on the album, it’s grinding & straight ahead.”
Ahead of the album’s release, Venom have also lined up a series of global listening parties set for April 30th. These events will include exclusive giveaways and the chance for fans to win signed test pressings of the new record.
Participating locations include:
- London, UK – Helgi’s Bar
- Milan, IT – Headbangers Pub
- Paris, FR – Dr Feelgood: Rock Beer Temple
- Brooklyn, NY – Duff’s
- São Paulo, BR – The Metal Bar
- Hamburg, DE – Ballroom Kaperfahrt
With ‘Into Oblivion’ just around the corner, Venom continue to carry their legacy forward with new material that leans into both their classic sound and heavier modern edge.
