A first trailer has arrived for ‘V/H/S/MIXTAPE’, the latest entry in the long-running V/H/S/ horror anthology franchise.
The new installment is scheduled to premiere on Shudder on October 9 and will feature contributions from a number of notable names from the worlds of music and film, including Ghost frontman Tobias Forge and theatrical metal outfit GWAR.
GWAR will appear throughout the anthology in a series of skits and music video segments, with the latter incorporating work overseen by Forge and filmmaker/musician Flying Lotus.
The film’s primary horror segments come from a diverse group of directors, including RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan, Ernest Dickerson, David Moreau and Renee Zhan.
The newly released trailer offers the first substantial look at what ‘V/H/S/MIXTAPE’ has in store ahead of its October debut.
