Wednesday 13 Debut Haunting “In Misery” Music Video

Goth rock outfit Wednesday 13 has unleashed their latest single, “In Misery,” with an accompanying music video that premiered today, March 27th. The track is set to appear on their upcoming studio album, Mid Death Crisis, which drops on April 25th via Napalm Records.

Directed by Vicente Cordero (Cradle Of Filth, Bleeding Through), the video shoot took an unexpected turn when the band ended up helping extinguish a nearby fire.

Frontman Wednesday 13 shared insight into the track’s theme, explaining:

“There are too many love songs out there about people confessing their love to one another. I wanted to do the exact opposite and confess the misery of being in a bad relationship. Hopelessly, madly in misery with someone. I see it every day—people miserable together. I see it almost as much as I see people happily together. Some people enjoy misery, and this song is about enjoying that misery as much as someone in love.”

The band is currently on tour celebrating 20 years of their debut album, Transylvania 90210, alongside Stitched Up Heart, Dead Rabbitts, and I Ya Toyah.
