LIMP BIZKIT guitarist Wes Borland is known for his wild and often theatrical stage attire, but for the final night of their recent stint supporting METALLICA, he opted for something more nostalgic than outlandish.
During the June 27th show in Denver, CO, Borland paid tribute to James Hetfield’s iconic 1980s look, sporting gear reminiscent of the METALLICA frontman’s vintage thrash metal era. Keeping the homage going, Borland even performed with his ‘EET PHO’-branded guitar—a clear nod to Hetfield’s infamous ‘EET FUK’ guitar from 1987.

This show marked the final date of LIMP BIZKIT’s time on the road with METALLICA, and the wardrobe swap appears to have been a fitting end-of-tour salute—possibly with a touch of prankish flair.
