    Limp Bizkit Guitarist Wes Borland Responds To Backlash Over Anti-Trump Posts: ‘Y’all Hating Me For Not Wanting Hatred In The World Is Wild’

    Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland is doubling down after drawing online backlash for comments he made targeting supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump. The outspoken nü-metal musician sparked debate last weekend when he took to Instagram Stories and told followers who backed Trump — or associated with those who did — to unfollow him.

    His initial message read:

    “If any of my followers voted of support Trump or are still friends with anyone who supports the Trump administration you’re out. F*ck You. Never contact me again.”

    Borland’s stance isn’t new. The guitarist previously voiced opposition to Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign, and he returned to social media again today (February 06th) — coinciding with his 51st birthday — with additional commentary that also included criticism of immigration enforcement and elements of the Democratic Party.

    “I guess if you’re mad at me say whatever you want to here. I just want everyone to be happy Fuck Trump. Fuck ICE. Democrats are without leadership except Bernie. Love AOC. So call me a Libtard here. Hail Satan. It’s also my birthday so you can wish me a happy birthday if you want.”

    In a separate follow-up post, Borland addressed the reaction his remarks generated, framing the criticism as contradictory to his broader message.

    “Y’all hating me for not wanting hatred in the world is wild. Fine, keep voting against your best interests and telling me: stick to playing guitar. Never heard that one before.”

    The comments have fueled further discussion across social platforms, continuing a long tradition of musicians publicly expressing political viewpoints — and the resulting fan reactions that often follow. Borland himself has remained outspoken across multiple election cycles, suggesting the latest exchange is unlikely to be his last foray into politically charged commentary.

        Zach Shaw shoot in 94 they got pretty rowdy as well. Tossed a lot of mud at bands. Turns out the mud was actually the porta potties over flowing. Even the original Woodstock had a lot of issues with crowd control. I honestly don’t think Fred meant to start a riot. The whole crowd was high and drunk.

      I voted for Trump, but Im not religious at all I despise religion, I disagree with Trumps abortion stuff as I think within a reasonable time frame a woman should have a choice but after a certain timeframe it should be illegal. I think ICE is over stepping some boundaries in SOME cases, but mostly it seems to be being handled in a decent matter given the intensity of the entire situation. I think immigrants or people from other countries should come enjoy our country but to do so legally, the same way I as a white male who was born in America would have to if I wanted to live in another country. America isn’t the only country who has these rules and laws about coming in and staying illegally.

      The arguments are so fucking stupid on either side. When mental health and suicide rates and unemployed people and the drug issues in America are so much bigger problems than “I don’t like your side so fuck you” type of arguments.

      I like Wes Borland, but again I voted for Trump but he is a great guitar player and I love Limp Bizkit too, they actually kick ass musically. I think ALL bands should keep their political bullshit out of it and just create music as they always have, but everyone keeps coming out on either side and spewing they sides hate and ruining the music for all involved.

      This country is so beyond fucked in so many ways.

There’s a fine line between a political discussion and a famous person preaching because they have a “platform”. If you’re somewhat famous and go on some news show or Bill Maher and that’s where the discussion leads that’s fine. Say what you want. I can’t stand when they just come out with a statement.
