Windwaker & RinRin Tackle Digital Fame On New Single “click.”

Australian melodic metalcore outfit Windwaker have teamed up with fellow Aussie artist RinRin for a new collaborative single titled “click.”

The track takes aim at modern internet culture, exploring how privacy, identity and personal struggles are increasingly traded for attention in the online era. Speaking on the song’s meaning, Windwaker said it reflects a world where people’s lowest moments are broadcast for profit, while fame and exposure have become normalized to the point that authenticity itself is now questioned.

The band also revealed the collaboration came together naturally after finishing their last record, with plans already in motion to work with outside artists for the first time. According to the group, RinRin was an obvious fit due to her longtime creative history with guitarist Chris Lalic, and the song quickly developed during a short studio session together.

RinRin added that “click.” feels especially timely, noting how everyone now walks around with a camera in hand and that constant documentation has become part of everyday life. She also described it as one of the coolest collaborations she has worked on.

The release arrives ahead of Windwaker’s first-ever North American headlining tour, which kicks off this May. Support on the run will come from If Not For Me and Colorblind.
