With A Vengeance, the new band featuring former Bad Wolves members Tommy Vext and Chris Cain, will release their debut album, ‘Born To Survive’, on October 30.
The group has also undergone a lineup change ahead of the album’s arrival, with former Bad Wolves bassist Kevin Creekman officially joining the band. With Creekman now handling bass duties, guitarist Angel Vivaldi has stepped away to focus on ongoing health matters and his solo career.
Vivaldi’s departure has also prompted a reshuffling within the group. Original bassist Xander Raymond Charles has moved to guitar, restoring the band’s three-guitar lineup alongside Chris Cain. Austin D’Amond, known for his work with Chimaira, Bleed The Sky, and Verona On Venus, rounds out the current lineup on drums.
The band previously welcomed Creekman as a full-time member while announcing the changes, with Tommy Vext expressing his support for both the bassist’s arrival and Vivaldi’s decision to step away.
“Angel is one of the most gifted players in the world and, more importantly, a great friend. We fully support him as he focuses on his health and finishes the record he’s passionate about. He’s always part of this family, and we’d welcome him back with open arms.”
Vext also praised Creekman’s history with him and his musical abilities.
“Kevin has been part of my musical journey for years. I’ve watched him transform his life through discipline, perseverance, and hard work. He’s an outstanding musician and a world-class performer. We’re thrilled to have him in as a full-time member.”
The album follows the band’s debut single, “Shared Light,” which arrived in July. With A Vengeance will release their second single, “Oblivion,” on October 2, just weeks before ‘Born To Survive’ lands.
The group will also hit the road this fall for its first tour, beginning October 14 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Alibis will join the trek for the final stretch beginning November 6.
