’68 Announce Farewell Tour, Final Show Set For Atlanta

Noise rock duo ’68 have officially announced plans to bring their run to a close, revealing dates for a farewell tour that will culminate with what is being billed as their final performance.

The band, led by vocalist and guitarist Josh Scogin, recently completed work on their fifth studio album earlier this month. Shortly afterward, the group confirmed a farewell run that will see them celebrating their catalog one last time on the road.

Select dates on the tour will feature support from Derek Zanetti and Nate Bergman, adding a special collaborative element to the sendoff. The trek is currently scheduled to conclude on June 20 in Atlanta, GA — a performance the band has labeled as ’68’s “very last show.”

Following the announcement, speculation quickly surfaced among fans that Scogin could be preparing to step into the vacant lead vocalist role in metalcore supergroup Better Lovers. However, Scogin appeared to shut down those rumors directly in the comments section of the farewell tour announcement, indicating that such a move is not currently planned.
