The long-rumored Acid Bath reunion is officially staying live-only—for now. In a new interview with New Noise Magazine, vocalist Dax Riggs confirmed that fans shouldn’t expect any new music from the influential sludge metal outfit.
“Acid Bath won’t make new music, but the members will continue to write and record in their respective projects,” said Riggs, putting an end to speculation about a possible studio comeback.
The statement arrives just ahead of the next leg of the band’s reunion tour, which launched earlier this year. Here’s where you can catch Acid Bath live:
