Coal Chamber will make their return to the stage this Halloween with a special headlining performance scheduled for October 31st at the House Of Blues in Anaheim, CA.
The gold-certified nü-metal veterans will be joined by P.O.D. as direct support, with Cradle Of Filth and Black Satellite rounding out the lineup.
The announcement comes as a surprise after Coal Chamber recently stepped away from their previously scheduled fall festival appearances following drummer Mikey Cox’s corrective surgery. Cox underwent the procedure in July after his battle with cancer.
However, the drummer has now confirmed that he plans to return behind the kit for the Anaheim performance. Responding to a fan on social media on August 4th, Cox shared an update on his recovery:
“I played the last two shows during cancer treatment. Now I am recovering completely. A few more weeks and I am normal again.”
The Halloween event will mark Coal Chamber’s return to live performances and bring together a diverse lineup spanning nü-metal, rap metal, gothic extreme metal, and industrial rock.
Tickets for the show will go on sale this Friday, August 7th at 10:00 a.m. PST.
