The upcoming celebration of life for Andy Williams will be livestreamed online this weekend, allowing fans and friends who cannot attend in person to take part in the memorial.
Williams, best known for his years as the guitarist of Every Time I Die and later Atomic Rule, was also widely recognized for his professional wrestling career as The Butcher. He tragically passed away earlier this month after collapsing near the conclusion of a wrestling match. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. A cause of death has not been publicly disclosed.
A celebration of life for Williams is scheduled for September 27th at Buffalo RiverWorks in Buffalo, NY, with the event set to feature speeches and tributes from those who knew him throughout his life and career.
The memorial will also include acoustic performances from Cave In‘s Stephen Brodsky and Adam McGrath, Four Year Strong‘s Dan O’Connor and Alan Day, as well as Anthony Green of Circa Survive and L.S. Dunes.
Merchandise released in connection with the tribute through andywilliamsforever.com is also benefiting charities that Williams was passionate about, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to those causes.
The livestream will begin at 6:00 p.m. EST on September 27th via the Andy Williams Forever YouTube channel.
