ATOMIC RULE (Ex-Every Time I Die/The Acacia Strain) To Drop Debut Demo This Month

Atomic Rule, the new band led by ex-Every Time I Die guitarist and current AEW wrestler Andy Williams, is gearing up to release their first demo at the end of September. Williams is joined by Eternal Sleep’s Travis Bennington, along with newly announced members James Hendergroove (vocals) and Kevin Boutot (Dry Kill Logic, ex-The Acacia Strain) on drums.

The group first debuted live in December 2023 following lineup shifts but has since solidified into a stable roster. Now, with music on the way and shows booked, Atomic Rule is set to officially introduce themselves.

On social media, Williams shared his excitement about the band’s chemistry:

“@atomicruleband has been exactly how I’ve always wanted a band to feel like. In the past, the pieces were never all there. This feels like a team, trying to deliver their best. Every time we’re in a room together or all on a call, it seems like we’re all connected mentally and make each other feel heard. @turning_the_screw and I have become each others hands. If I don’t know where to go next, I can guarantee he knows. It’s amazing. @jams_hendergroove is the voice I hear when I’m writing riffs. Trusting a singer has to be a priority. Having a singer feel like a brother and teammate is something new and I am here for it.

@kevinboutot has always been a drummer that I’ve fawned over for years. Toured Pangea with him and never had a bad time. So musical, which I’ve had the fortune of only working with great drummers. So this feels very familiar, but seeing his mind work without tunes is just wild. I love playing guitar in this band. We’re dropping our demo at the end of September. Gonna start throwing some teases up soon. Have shows booked with @betterloversband in Athens, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida on November 14th and 15th and a handful of other shows we’ll be announcing very soon!”

Atomic Rule will hit the road later this fall with Better Lovers, Soul Blind, and Hong Kong Fuck You:
