Japanese kawaii metal icons BABYMETAL have officially signed with Capitol Records and announced their fourth studio album, Metal Forth, set for release on June 13th. The album is packed with high-profile guest appearances, including Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine.
Additional collaborators include Poppy, as well as members of Spiritbox, Slaughter To Prevail, Polyphia, Bloodywood, and Electric Callboy, the latter of whom appeared on the previously released single “RATATATA“. Up next, BABYMETAL will drop their latest single, “From Me To U”, featuring Poppy, this Friday, April 4th.
Tomorrow, April 1st, marks the band’s annual ‘Fox Day’, where they’ll reveal their ‘Legend Map’, outlining their plans for the year ahead. 2025 will also commemorate BABYMETAL’s 15th anniversary.

My issue is…. Band Maid is 10 times better than Babymetal, but get no recognition lol
Anthony Pru not necessarily “better”. They are different. I like both. For me the entire production of their live shows gives Babymetal a far better appeal. I can only watch a guitarist shredding for so long until I lose interest.

Anthony Pru The comparison is very unnecessary because they are totally different genres and concepts. If Maid Band is not as well-known, it is not because it is better or worse, it is simply because they do not have good management of networks and publicity.
