Multi-platinum alternative metal act Bad Wolves have unveiled a new track, “Hanging On To Thunder,” from the deluxe edition of their fourth studio album, Die About It. The song features a collaboration with Australian pop-punk band Stand Atlantic and is one of nine bonus tracks included on the expanded release.
Founding drummer John Boecklin spoke on the track:
“‘Hanging On To Thunder’ preaches strength in moments of adversity. This song embodies what we do best: big hooks, raw emotion, and pure power. It’s an undeniable Bad Wolves classic. Stand Atlantic takes it to the next level with an absolutely insane vocal performance. We’re incredibly proud of this one.”
While the track signals the band’s ongoing creative output, the future of Bad Wolves remains uncertain. Following a major lineup change, including the departure of several members, founding vocalist Tommy Vext has confirmed he will not be involved with the band’s next roster.
