Bloodywood Serve Up “Tadka” Video

Indian alternative metal act Bloodywood are turning up the heat with their latest single, “Tadka,” a spicy new track celebrating India’s rich food culture. The song arrives alongside the official announcement of their forthcoming album, NU DELHI, giving fans a flavorful preview of what’s to come.

The track marks the third teaser from the upcoming record, blending traditional dhol drum rhythms with explosive nu-metal riffs. Lyrically, “Tadka” dives into the universal love for food, from high-end dining to street-side vendors, with lines like “The stove is lit / We chopped the bits” driving home the theme.

“‘Tadka’ is a metal tribute to Indian food,” the band shared in a statement. “The word ‘Tadka’ is a cooking process in Indian cuisine where spices are heated in hot oil or ghee to create a more aromatic flavor.
