Corrosion Of Conformity have rolled out the music video for their track “Gimme Some Moore,” coinciding with the song’s newly issued digital release after initially appearing only on vinyl. The clip was directed by vocalist/guitarist Pepper Keenan and filmed by Mike Holderbeast (Down, etc.), while guest gang vocals on the track come courtesy of Ministry’s Al Jourgensen and Monte Pittman (Madonna, Prong, etc.).
The song will appear on the band’s upcoming eleventh studio effort, ‘Good God / Baad Man’, a 14-song double album due out April 03rd via Nuclear Blast. Longtime collaborator Stanton Moore handled drum duties on the record, stepping in once again following the passing of Reed Mullin.
Speaking about the album’s direction, Keenan explained that the project carries a conceptual angle and stylistic split between its halves:
“Our producer, Warren Riker, kept calling it Dark Side Of The Doom. In my head, it’s a weird love letter to all things rock ‘n’ roll. We used that for the freedom to go in different directions. Each album is its own tiny universe and has its own identity. Good God leans toward the heavier/pissed end of the spectrum. Baad Man is more on the throwdown rock scope. As we went along, it became clear which songs went on which album.”
