After teasing a special September 05th date over the weekend, Canadian metalcore outfit Counterparts have officially unveiled this year’s hometown ‘905’ celebration show in Hamilton, Ontario.
The annual event will take place at The Music Hall and will once again spotlight several rising names tied to the heavier underground scene. Joining Counterparts for the show will be I Promised The World, Balmora, and A Mourning Star.
The ‘905’ branding references the area code tied to Hamilton and the surrounding region, making the show an ongoing celebration of the band’s hometown roots and local heavy music community.
Presales for the event will launch tomorrow, May 13th at 10:00am EDT, with the general onsale set for Thursday, May 14th at 10:00am EDT.

Great to see the 905 show back in Hamilton! I’m planning to fly in for the September 5th date and was looking for some local info on the area around The Music Hall, but I kept running into some weird search results for “Betano” and gaming audits like https://GuiadeBetanoColumbia.com which seems totally unrelated to the Ontario scene. Does anyone know if there are any decent hotels or spots to hang out near the venue that aren’t part of these sponsored search loops, or is it better to just stay closer to downtown?
