New York hardcore veteran Danny Diablo, also known as Dan Singer and Lord Ezec, has been hospitalized since Halloween after experiencing complications related to gallstones.
The Skarhead, Crown Of Thornz and Icepick veteran recently shared a video message from his hospital bed, updating fans on his condition and the medical procedures doctors have recommended.
According to Diablo, a gallstone became lodged in one of his ducts, prompting doctors to arrange a procedure to remove the blockage. Following a painful 24-hour stretch, he was also informed that his gallbladder will need to be surgically removed.
Despite the circumstances, Diablo expressed gratitude toward the hospital staff caring for him, as well as the friends, family members and fans who have reached out with messages of support.
He shared the following update:
“What’s up, everybody? Danny Diablo. Check this out.
I’ve been here since Halloween night. Basically, I got a gallstone stuck in a tube. And anyway, they’re going to do the camera down there in a balloon and get rid of that gallstone. And then, the next day, they’re going to be doing the removal of my gallbladder.
So, everyone in this hospital has been really, really nice. Shout out to, I’m not going to say the name now, but this hospital is really, really, really good. Shout out to Queens. Shout out to all my friends and family. And all my fans. Everyone will reach out to me.
I mean, so, it’s a beautiful feeling to be loved and knowing that people love you and your music and stuff like that. God bless. Peace, love, and happiness. Danny Diablo.”
