Imperial Triumphant have officially found a new label home, announcing their signing with Metal Blade Records following their previous tenure with Century Media Records.
The New York City-based avant-garde blackened metal outfit confirmed the partnership with a statement welcoming the new chapter in their career, while also hinting that fresh material won’t be too far off.
The band commented on the signing:
“Imperial Triumphant is pleased to announce a new covenant with the illustrious Metal Blade Records. We consider Metal Blade the top floor of the recording label tower and the view from up here is quite nice. New music is flowing and fans can expect fresh decadence from Imperial Triumphant sooner than later.”
A commemorative Imperial Triumphant / Metal Blade Records shirt has also been made available to mark the announcement.
Meanwhile, the band have already completed tracking their next studio album, with Colin Marston (Krallice, Gorguts) once again handling production duties and overseeing the mixing process. No official release date or further details have been revealed at this stage, though the group’s latest comments suggest that an announcement could be on the horizon.
With their latest recording sessions wrapped up, Imperial Triumphant will soon be heading overseas alongside deathgrind outfit Knoll for an extensive European and UK tour. The trek will begin November 13th in Belfort, France, before concluding December 6th in Glasgow, Scotland.
