Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl gave a playful nod to Korn over the weekend, sporting one of the band’s limited edition Korn x Adidas tracksuits. In a post shared on November 1st, Grohl was seen wearing the purple sequined outfit — a recreation of the iconic tracksuit famously worn by Jonathan Davis during the band’s late ’90s heyday.
Grohl captioned the photo, “This time of year always makes me think of Kornfields.”, referencing both the fall season and the nu-metal pioneers’ name.
The shoutout didn’t go unnoticed. Korn members Jonathan Davis, James “Munky” Shaffer, and Ray Luzier all dropped comments on Grohl’s post, showing their appreciation for the fun homage.
