Dayseeker is set to release their acoustic album, Replica digitally on April 19th, with a physical release scheduled for June 14th. This offering from the Southern California post-hardcore band features reimagined versions of nine beloved tracks, showcasing their talent in a stripped-down format along with a cover of Evanescence‘s hit song “My Immortal“.
The idea for the album came about after technical difficulties plagued their ‘Blue Ridge Rock Fest 2022‘ performance and the band was forced to perform acoustically.
Beartooth vocalist Caleb Shomo makes a special appearance on the album’s lead single, a new interpretation of Dayseeker‘s hit song from 2019, “Burial Plot.”
Rory Rodriguez, the band’s vocalist, offered the following on the lead single:
“‘Burial Plot (Acoustic)” is our third rendition that’s officially been released so we knew we had to make it special and interesting for our fans. Caleb Shomo absolutely helped transform this song and it’s one of our favorites.”
