Mudvayne guitarist Mudvayne’s Greg Tribbett appears to be keeping busy during the band’s ongoing hiatus, quietly working on new material following his absence from the group’s recent L.D. 50 anniversary tour after the passing of his wife, Debbie.
Tribbett has now begun teasing a new project called Dead Wyte, which sees him collaborating with his younger brother, Derrick “Tripp” Tribbett, a familiar name to fans of the heavier alt-metal and nu-metal scenes through his work in Dope, as well as his past roles in Twisted Method and Makeshift Romeo.
The project is currently being teased through short clips of new music shared online, though no official releases have surfaced yet. At this stage, Dead Wyte remains in early development, with more details expected as the band continues to take shape.
Fans can follow updates on the project as Tribbett continues to share previews and behind-the-scenes material in the lead-up to a full debut.
