Multi-platinum alternative metal band Deftones have teamed up with Los Jaguares, a youth soccer squad from Sacramento’s Oak Park neighborhood, for the team’s official season jerseys. The collaboration includes two jersey designs and a custom Deftones-branded soccer ball, available now as part of a limited capsule via shopdeftones.com. A portion of proceeds from the collection will benefit the team.
The band commented:
“Los Jaguares represent an underserved community in one of California’s lowest-income districts. For these athletes, soccer is a vital source of pride and community, as reflected in their rallying cry: ‘Who are we? Familia.’”
