Distant have announced their new studio album ‘Into Despair’, set for release on November 6 via Century Media Records, alongside the arrival of their latest single ‘All Will Be (N)one’.
The new track features guest vocals from Suffocation frontman Ricky Myers, with a Jáchym Belcher-directed music video also now available to stream. The release continues the rollout of the 13-track record following a series of recent singles.
Speaking about the album, Distant described ‘Into Despair’ as their most personal work to date:
“Driven by raw honesty and pure emotion, ‘Into Despair’ is an album born from personal battles and lived experiences. Every song carries pieces of each member’s own journey, with moments of pain, reflection, and resilience woven into a deeply intimate body of work. More than just a collection of songs, ‘Into Despair’ is a cathartic expression of vulnerability and a reminder that even in our darkest moments, grief is something we all share. It stands as the band’s most heartfelt and authentic statement yet, transforming personal suffering into something universally resonant.”
On the new single ‘All Will Be (N)one’, the band added:
“‘All Will Be (N)one’ is a bleak, atmospheric track that explores humanity’s fear of death and the inevitability of time’s collapse. Blending crushing riffs with relentless rhythms, the song builds a sense of slow-burning dread before erupting into moments of raw confrontation. Lyrically, it shifts the perspective from resistance to acceptance. The feature from Ricky Myers of Suffocation adds an extra layer of intensity and authority, reinforcing the track’s central message: that everything fades, and all will be (n)one.”
The track listing for ‘Into Despair’ includes collaborations with Tyler Beam of The Last Ten Seconds Of Life, alongside Myers’ appearance on the title track single.
Pre-orders are available now, with Distant also confirmed for a previously announced 2027 European/UK tour with Spite, Emmure, and Mauled.
