Flat Black, the alternative metal project featuring former Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Jason Hook, have officially entered the studio to begin work on their second album.
Footage shared on social media shows the band recording at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606, with producer Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Stone Sour) overseeing the sessions.
The group released their debut album ‘Dark Side Of The Brain’ in 2024, marking their first full-length release since forming after Hook’s departure from Five Finger Death Punch.
With the new studio sessions now underway, Flat Black appear to be moving quickly into the next chapter of their post-debut era.
