British alternative rock outfit Don Broco have released a music video for “True Believers,” a collaboration with Sam Carter, frontman of British metalcore band Architects. The track appears on Don Broco’s fifth studio album, Nightmare Tripping, which was released via Fearless Records and also features a previous collaboration with Nickelback. The video was co-directed by Tom Pullen and Tobias James.
Vocalist and programmer Rob Damiani explained the inspiration behind the track:
“We started writing this song back in 2024 during the Southport Riots. At the same time, the Olympics were on, and flipping between them and the news was an alarming contrast between celebratory British patriotism and violent English nationalism. Over the last few years, it’s been impossible to avoid the rise of the far-right across Europe and the United States, seeing politicians and people on the streets using the Nazi salute freely without consequence, and genocide apologists embraced in the mainstream media. This song is about the brainwashing that’s led to this, to question what we’ve been brought up believing and the narratives reinforced for generations.”
Damiani added that bringing Sam Carter onto the track was a natural choice:
“We’ve been fans of Architects for a long time, and the energy and aggression he brings to his vocals are unmatched. As a human being, he’s used his talents again and again to stand up for what’s right, so to collaborate on this song with him was very special.”
The video for “True Believers” is now available to stream online, highlighting the track’s intense themes and collaborative energy.
