Architects vocalist Sam Carter has opened up about how ongoing online criticism of his live screaming has affected his mental health and diminished his enjoyment of performing. In a personal statement shared ahead of the band’s European and UK tour with Korn, Carter discussed the anxiety and self-doubt he has experienced since criticism intensified following a performance at Rock am Ring. He also revealed that he has been attending therapy, taking medication to manage his anxiety, and working with a vocal coach as he seeks to regain his confidence and reconnect with performing.
