Evil Island (The Blood Brothers Members) Sign With Blowed Out Records, Announce Debut Single “Tiger Baby”

New project Evil Island — featuring multiple members of influential post-hardcore outfit The Blood Brothers — have officially signed with Blowed Out Records and announced plans to release their debut single, “Tiger Baby,” on April 15th.

The band’s lineup includes Johnny Whitney (vocals), Cody Votolato (guitar/vocals), and Mark Gajadhar (drums), alongside bassist Autry Fulbright, known for his work with OFF! and …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. A limited 7” pressing of “Tiger Baby” — capped at 300 copies — will also feature the exclusive b-side track “King Death,” offering fans an early listen unavailable elsewhere at launch.

Given The Blood Brothers’ longstanding relationship with famed producer Ross Robinson, the signing carries added significance. Robinson co-founded Blowed Out Records alongside Ghostemane and Bill Armstrong, making the collaboration a natural progression.

Guitarist Cody Votolato shared how quickly the partnership came together:

“Ross Robinson came to my surprise birthday party last May 2025. I mentioned Evil Island and he instantly said ‘Fuck yes, let’s make a record.’ By October we were in the studio and signed to Blowed Out Records. Now on April 15th, 2026 we are releasing our first single ‘Tiger Baby’ with a limited press of 300 copies on 7″. It will include our second single that you can only hear early on the 7″ at first. We are super proud of it and it’s now available for preorder!”

Robinson also expressed strong enthusiasm for the project, referencing his history working with The Blood Brothers.

“This is a record I’ve wanted to make for way too long, ever since signing and producing The Blood Brothers ‘Burn Piano Island, Burn’. I feel Evil Island is the coolest fucking band on earth and dare anyone to step up to the unleashing fire these guys throw down — they’re the king of kings. I can’t believe we got to make this thing, it’s an artistic/emotionally violent dream come true for me!”
