Accompanying the launch of Full Of Hell‘s latest album, Coagulated Bliss, of Friday (April 26th), is a new music video for their track “Fractured Bonds To Mecca.” The band’s multi-instrumentalist, Sam DiGristine, collaborated on the concept for the visuals, describing it as a representation of an unending struggle within a familiar yet disorienting environment. Drawing inspiration from films like “The Incredible Melting Man,” “The Holy Mountain,” and “Altered States,” the video explores themes of alienation, sacrifice, and the relentless pursuit of salvation.
Vocalist Dylan Walker added:
“This song is about a genetic curse. Having to live through inherited flaws and bearing witness to your own familial destruction. Lyrically, it’s very inspired by Thee Silver Mt. Zion at their darkest and most honest moments, speaking about our own inhumanity.”
The video was co-directed by Jared Defrees and Zach Sayles with Defrees co-writing the concept with DiGristine.
