GAEREA Announce New Album ‘Loss’, Share Cinematic Video for “Hellbound”

Portuguese post-black metal collective Gaerea have announced the release of their highly anticipated new album ‘Loss‘, due out March 20th, 2026, through Century Media Records. The record was tracked at Demigod Recordings with producer Miguel Teroso, and marks the next evolution of the band’s dark, immersive sound.

A press release notes that ‘Loss‘ continues to expand Gaerea’s signature sonic atmosphere, blending bleak intensity with emotional depth. Reflecting on the band’s decade-long commitment to anonymity, their masked vocalist explained, “It’s not about the individual or seeing our faces. I don’t want people to know me. I want people to connect with the music and the lyrics that I’m singing and apply that to their own lives.”

The newly released single “Hellbound” serves as the second preview of the upcoming album, accompanied by a striking cinematic video directed by Pavel Trebukhin (Amon Amarth, Imminence).
