Brazilian metal legends Sepultura have clarified the recent news surrounding drummer Greyson Nekrutman joining Trivium this fall. The band confirmed that Nekrutman’s role with Trivium is temporary, and he is set to return to Sepultura for their next round of farewell touring in 2026.

The band shared on social media:
“As many of you may already know, our drummer Greyson Nekrutman has temporarily joined our friends from Trivium as their drummer. In 2026, he’ll be back with Sepultura, resuming his place in the band as we continue our farewell tour. Stay tuned for new tour dates coming soon!”
