GWAR Reveal New Action Figure Set Featuring Late Vocalist Oderus Urungus

Iconic shock-rockers GWAR are teaming up with Trick Or Treat Studios to release a new set of collectible 5” action figures. This six-figure collection features each member of the band with multiple points of articulation, complete with their signature instruments and weapons.

Fans who collect all five figures will unlock a special build-a-figure bonus: a tribute to the band’s late vocalist Oderus Urungus. Key parts of Oderus — including his head, torso, and the legendary Cuttlefish of Cthulhu — are housed inside a separate spew tank filled with red slime and body parts. The remaining pieces are included with the other figures in the set. The collection is expected to arrive in early October, with pre-orders available now at gwar.net.

The figures include:

• Pustulus Maximus – spear, dagger & guitar
• Beefcake the Mighty – sword & bass
• Jizmak Da Gusha – war hammer & drumsticks
• Balsac the Jaws of Death – battle axe & guitar
• Blöthar the Berserker – sword & shield

Fresh off the release of their The Return Of Gor Gor comic book and EP set, GWAR are hitting the road for a busy 2025. For those unable to catch them live, their June 21st, 2025 set at The Caverns in Pelham, TN will be livestreamed on August 22nd under the title GWAR: Live From The Hellmouth via Veeps.

Last night (August 11th), the band announced their second Australian tour, joining the Good Things Festival lineup alongside Tool, Weezer, Machine Head, and more. Drummer Jizmak Da Gusha joked:

“GWAR is obtaining work visas as undercover plumbers to unclog all the disgusting items Aussies put down their drains. But, the truth is, we have been asked to come back to Australia to fix all of their government’s problems. Should take about a week. I’m secretly excited to go down under because it’s shark season and lots of people are being eaten, which is very entertaining for me. Fun vacation all around.”

Vocalist Blöthar the Berserker added:

“For the second time in 40 years, GWAR is going down under. That’s right. December 2025, we invade our favorite penile colony. So throw another corpse on the barbie and get ready for metal, mutants, blood, and trickling rivulets of laughter! Because we are the true gods of shock rock, and we are coming to Australia!”
