HAWK have returned with a new lineup. Ricky Armellino, the band’s frontman, offered the following regarding the changes:
“It’s been years since we’ve shared any legitimate updates about HAWK, which is funny because it is still such a big part of our lives. Despite being silent on social media this whole time, HAWK has been very busy working on new music.
Over these few years of developing a new and exciting sound, we have been pushing ourselves as performers and producers. And yet, the whole time, you guys have been keeping HAWK alive in the world-and we appreciate that so much. Adam [Reed] and I have been on the road nonstop, playing with Ice Nine Kills.
Every single tour, we come home with hilarious and well made HAWK gear like custom cassettes, counterfeit merch, crocheted ski masks, the list goes on. We really appreciate you guys supporting us and our journey.
Jack [Esbenshade, guitars] and Bernard [Stabley, bass/vocals] have been pursuing life and its endeavors, we wish them the best and our support, always.
We want to welcome Drew, Mike, and Cody into the band as well as the myriad of talents that comes with each of them.
There’s new music coming up, new visuals, and a whole crew of characters who are helping make this project cool, fun, and chaotic…”
The first new single from HAWK has arrived, titled “Justify“, accompanied by a music video directed by Tom Flynn. HAWK emerged from the ashes of This Or The Apocalypse, with vocalist Ricky Armellino also taking on the role of guitarist/vocalist for Ice Nine Kills.
