Boston hardcore outfit Haywire have been forced to postpone their upcoming Australian tour, with visa issues prompting the band to push the planned run into late November/early December.
The group had been scheduled to kick off a ten-date Australian trek in the coming days. However, Haywire announced today, August 18th, that the shows will no longer proceed as scheduled, with the band now targeting a new window between November 18th and December 6th.
The band issued the following statement regarding the postponement:
“IT’S WITH GREAT SADNESS I MUST ANNOUNCE WE HAVE TO POSTPONE OUR AUSTRALIA TRIP BECAUSE OF VISA ISSUES.
WE WILL BE RE-SCHEDULING FOR SOMETIME BETWEEN NOVEMBER 18TH & DECEMBER 6TH.
ALL TICKET COMPANIES WILL BE EMAILING YOU ABOUT WHAT TO DO MOVING FORWARD. WE WILL BE BACK AT THAT TIME NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
IF YOU HAVE ANY ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS EMAIL THE TICKETING COMPANIES.”
The postponed run comes as Haywire prepare for the next chapter of their career following their recent signing with Roadrunner Records. The band also have a new studio album, ‘I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye’, in the works.
