Head Automatica (Glassjaw, Etc.) Officially Release Their New Song “Annulment”

After briefly leaking online last October, Head Automatica have now officially released their latest single, “Annulment.” The alternative rock outfit, fronted by Daryl Palumbo (Glassjaw), also features Chad Hasty, drummer of the aforementioned post-hardcore band.

“Annulment” marks the band’s second new single since 2006, signaling a long-awaited resurgence. Speaking on the track, Palumbo shared:

“The song ‘Annulment‘ is Head Automatica‘s sound but pushed forward a bit in terms of the mood and production. We wanted to maintain all of the colorful production with intricate electronic and sample-based elements while allowing more space for the overall song’s feeling and dynamics to stand out. Ensuring the mood of the track carries it while still remaining body-moving is the delicate balance within ‘Annulment.’”
