Heriot have announced their debut album, Devoured By The Mouth Of Hell will release through Century Media on September 27th. The band’s vocalist/bassist, Jake Packer oversaw the production of the album alongside Josh Middleton of Sylosis (ex-Architects). The UK-based post-metalcore band had GRAMMY Award-winning producer Will Putney handle the mixing and mastering of the album.
The Harry Steel-directed video for the band’s latest single, “Foul Void” can be found below.
Regarding the inspiration for the new single, the band offered:
“‘Foul Void‘ was one of the last tracks written for our debut album, ‘Devoured by the Mouth of Hell‘. Sonically influenced by ’90s and early 00’s metalcore, the song delves into the inner struggle of an individual facing uncertainties about their faith.”
