Hollow Front are officially moving forward with their fourth studio album, ‘No Love Without Despair’, following the recent return of vocalist Dakota Alvarez.
The Midwestern metalcore outfit recently welcomed Alvarez back into the fold on their new single “So Long To Yesterday,” marking his first new material with the band since his return. While ongoing medical issues stemming from an ischemic stroke have prevented him from resuming his former role as the group’s guitarist for now, Hollow Front are continuing ahead with their next full-length.
‘No Love Without Despair’ is slated for an independent December 11th release, with pre-orders now available through the band’s online store.
The band described the album as the product of one of the most difficult periods in Hollow Front’s history, while emphasizing that the entire project was created without outside label or management support.
“The last few years tested this band in ways we never could have imagined. There were times we genuinely didn’t know if Hollow Front had a future. Against all odds, we’re still here, making music together again with Dakota back where he belongs.”
Hollow Front explained that ‘No Love Without Despair’ was recorded, funded and developed entirely by the band, with the members handling everything from the music and artwork to videos and merchandise.
“It represents our refusal to give up despite everything we’ve been through and our belief that creating and sharing music is still what we’re meant to do.”
The band also expressed their appreciation to those continuing to support them through the next chapter.
“The fact that this album exists feels like a miracle. Every preorder, stream, and share means more than you know. Thank you for helping us keep this band alive.”
Hollow Front concluded their statement with a simple message: “HF FOREVER.”
