Howard Jones continues to stay incredibly active in the metal scene. Best known for his legendary run fronting multi-platinum metalcore giants Killswitch Engage from 2002 to 2012, he’s also made his mark with Blood Has Been Shed, Light the Torch, and SION. While fans eagerly await the debut from his new project Burn Eternal—a collaboration with former Killswitch Engage bandmate Adam Dutkiewicz—Jones has revealed yet another major endeavor.
His first-ever solo album is officially in the works, with production handled by Josh Gilbert of Spiritbox fame.
Speaking on the project earlier today, December 18, Jones shared:
“Back in the studio, Recording a few different features and projects.
After a lot of talk it’s finally happening. Starting work on my first solo album, stoked to have Josh Gilbert producing.
More to come soon.”
