A new brutal death metal project has emerged with the arrival of Infestuous, featuring Alan Cassidy (drums, The Black Dahlia Murder) and Matt Tluchowski (vocals/guitar, Doctor Smoke). The duo have officially introduced themselves with their debut single “Palace Of Rot,” now streaming alongside a newly released music video.
While Infestuous’ origins trace back to 2009, the project remained dormant for years before being revisited and fully realized several years ago. That long-gestating collaboration is now set to culminate in the release of the band’s debut album, Unfathomable Mutagenic Abominations, due out on April 17th via Silent Pendulum Records.
The debut track also features guest guitar work from Steve Lehocky (ex-Doctor Smoke, etc.), adding an extra layer of filth to the band’s first official offering.
