Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody is preparing to unveil a new musical project titled “Ferryman,” and he’s assembled an impressive collection of guest musicians for the track.
Among those involved are former Machine Head and Once Human guitarist Logan Mader, former Suicidal Tendencies and Daughtry bassist Josh Paul, Gemini Syndrome drummer Brian Steele Medina and Hal Kimura.
The collaboration also features some high-profile additional contributions, including Lamb Of God vocalist Randy Blythe and acclaimed guitarist Nita Strauss.
Moody has recently been teasing the project with a preview clip, which appears to feature AI-assisted visuals created for an accompanying video. The concept behind “Ferryman” is reportedly inspired by Moody’s 2022 book ‘Dirty Poetry’.
The track is scheduled to premiere tonight, November 3, exclusively through Moody’s Patreon.
