Former Korn bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu and guitarist Brian “Head” Welch shared the stage again last night, September 26th, marking a notable reunion between the longtime Korn members.
Fieldy stepped away from Korn in 2021 and has since described himself as retired from the band. In early 2025, he also revealed that he had not spoken with his former bandmates since 2019.
The reunion came in Boise, ID, during the grand opening of a new facility launched by Christian collective The Whosoevers. The organization has longstanding connections to musicians from the Christian metal scene, including members and former members of Korn, P.O.D., Flyleaf and Sevendust.
Fieldy and Head first appeared together during the event alongside Lacey Sturm, with footage from their soundcheck showing the former Korn members sharing the stage with the Flyleaf vocalist.
The pair later joined P.O.D. during the band’s set for a performance of “Boom.” Fieldy and Head also participated in a cover of the Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage”, giving fans another opportunity to see the two Korn veterans performing together.
The appearance follows a more personal reunion between Fieldy and Head earlier in the week, when the two were seen spending time together ahead of the facility’s opening.
While the appearance does not represent an announced return to Korn for Fieldy, it does mark the first time in years that the bassist and Head have been publicly seen performing together onstage.
